Features and bugs

In the software development world, the QA department frequently declares that some behavior of the program is a bug.  The developer, in reviewing the report will often realize that it is not a bug at all, rather, it is a feature!

And so it is with this odd house.  Here are some photos of things that, while a desired feature to someone, might be a bug to someone else…

Modern industrial look: corrugated steel walls.
The guardian of the master bedroom. Colored lights for the entrance marquee.
Fine-grained control of each and every light. One of these switches is for a disco ball (not pictured).
Stairs up. Note the colored light bulbs (left) to assist in visibility along the stair treads.
Unconventional bathroom lighting. What constellation is that?
The chessboard theme is a little overextended.
Upstairs windows are painted shut within their mansard inset frames.
Wooden pole supports, asbestos clad pipes and a very old furnace.
Hybrid circuit breaker-fuse system.
And a yard in need of yardwork! The buckthorn will be the first to go.
Dual electric meters, and other back yard features.
Garage with a swayback roof.

    The dual electric meters might come in handy if MN has a separate electric rate for charging electric cars. (Can you hear that Model S calling your name?)
